Description

The hammer of Thor, son of Odin, God of Thunder, is called Mjolnir. Mjolnir was made by two dwarf brothers - Sindri and Brokkr. It was no ordinary hammer - whenever Thor cast it at an enemy, it returned to his hands like a boomerang.

This Mjolnir is made of Metal and walnut materials. The ornaments describe two scenes from the Norse Mythology: First and Last meet of Thor and Jormungandr. On one side of Mjolnir is the meet with Jörmungandr while Thor went fishing with the Giant Hymir, in Jotunheim. Jormungandr got away and Thor couldn't kill her this time.

Ornaments on the second side of the Thor Hammer tells about the last time the God of Thunder and Midgard Serpent meet in Ragnarok - the battle at the end of the world. Thor is able to slay Jörmungandr but the battle kills them both. That venom which missed the younger Thor when he first encountered Jörmungandr does not miss him this time. The dying serpent fatally wounds Thor. Thor is only able to take nine steps after slaying Jörmungandr before succumbing to the venom..
